This project was a 3,500-foot extension of the existing 16th Street Mall in Downtown Denver. The extension is from Wewatta Street to the Highlands Neighborhood on the west side of Interstate 25. Included within this mall extension are three bridges, one over the Consolidated Main Line railroad tracks and another over the Platte River and the third bridge over Interstate 25. We participated in the master planning phase and subsequently performed the lighting design and electrical engineering for the Consolidated Main Line Bridge, now named the “Millennium Bridge,” an icon of the Commons Area of Downtown Denver.
