Centennial Gardens is a 2.2 acre formal garden owned by the City and County of Denver and is nestled into downtown. The Denver Botanical Gardens designed the garden plantings. The entry portico is an open structure comprised of stone and the formal garden is flanked by two areas of manicured trees. In addition to the delicately placed and planted shrubs, flowers, and trees, the garden also includes five water features ranging from a trickling stream to a spectacular center fountain with jet sprays of up to 25 feet. Each fountain contains accent lighting.
